Christine Barman is New Chief Technology Officer at Eaton

The technology company Eaton announced personnel changes. In the future, Christine Barmann will fill the position of Chief Technology Officer and lead the technology strategy of Eaton's industrial sector.

“Eaton is a global, world-class technology company that is on the leading edge of improving quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services,” Barman said. “I feel privileged to be a part of that mission, and I am excited to help shape the future alongside Eaton’s capable and diverse teams around the globe.”

Christine Barman brings with her 23 years of professional experience in managing design and development of vehicle components. For 22 years she worked alone at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where she held various positions. Her expertise will help her in the future direction and guidance of technology improvement in the automotive, electro mobility, aerospace and hydraulics industries.  Most recently, Barman served as Principal for New Shore LLC, where she provided strategic advice on new technologies and development strategies and has been named by numerous publications as one of the leading women in the North American automotive industry.
